Tommy Burr grew up in Salina Utah. He is the son of Jim and Ann Burr of Salina. He went to North Sevier High School. Everyone in town new Tommy. He had an ambition to succeed and from watching him as of late he is doing exactly that. After graduating from North Sevier High School, Tommy attended and graduated from SUU with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism and public relations. He was then hired by the Salt Lake Tribune. Tommy now lives and works in Washington DC as a the Salt Lake Tribune Washington correspondent.
Tommy has also co-authored the book, Mia Love: The Rise, Stumble and Resurgence of the Next GOP Star. Currently he is serving as the Vice President of the National Press Club.
