NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR SALINA CITY
JUSTICE COURT VACANCIES

Salina, UT—The Sevier County Nominating Commission has selected three nominees for the vacancy at the Salina City Justice Courts. The position will replace Judge Les Scott who will retire effective December 31, 2015

Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:
• Honorable Mark Kay McIff, Sevier County Justice Court judge, Piute County Justice Court Judge, The McIff Firm. P.C., Richfield
• Cordell Pearson, Sevier County School District varsity soccer coach, Piute Deputy Sherriff, Circleville
• Lee Jay Crysel, self-employed, Butch Cassidy Campground & R.V. Park, Salina

A comment period will be held through August 3rd, 2015, before the final candidate is selected by the Mayor of Salina City, Dustin Deaton, who will have 30 days to make an appointment, which is subject to ratification by the Salina City Council.
