If you grew up in Salina Utah, you surely had to climb to the top of what seemed like a giant red hill. You may of tried your best at riding your bike, or homemade cart down its steep slopes. If you were lucky you made it safely to the bottom. Many were not so lucky and ended up with cuts, scraps and bruises. None the less the so called Big Red Hill made an impact on your mind, and I’m sure you still have it’s memories embedded in there.

  1. My sweet grandma lived across the street from this giant. I can’t say how many times we would slide down with our cousins every time we came to visit. Or of the stories my dad would share of him and his brothers and all the fun that they had growing up. Easter time was special because the cousins from up north would come to visit and we would have contest with Easter eggs to see which one would make it to the bottom. I love Salina and central utah so much, that my family and I moved closer. Wonderful memories!!!
